Jailbreak and Root Detection - Is Your Mobile App a Sleuth

Globally, depending on who’s stats you believe, somewhere around 10 percent of iOS devices are jailbroken and 27% of android devices are rooted. It's virtually impossible to prevent rooting and jailbreaking. If it could be done without causing technical or political issues I'm sure Google and Apple would have done it. So when it comes to jailbreaking and rooting – prevention isn't the key, it's detection and response.
